About the Event
The atTAcK addiction E-Racing the Stigma 5K is so much more than just a race: it’s a movement! Comprised primarily of participants who have been personally impacted by an SUD either by overcoming an addiction, having lost a loved one to addiction, and/or currently living with a loved one impacted by an SUD, it has been described as a spiritual experience.
Our Mission
- Awareness: Since our inception in 2013, atTAcK addiction has made huge strides in Delaware’s efforts to raise awareness about the disease of addiction.
- Public Policy: We work to change public policy and assist people in recovery and their families.
- Resource Center: To support these efforts, we recently opened a Resource Center located in Peoples Plaza.
- Community Support: We are a true grass roots organization: our 5K provides 80% of our funding.
