🎉 Event Overview

• Purpose: Hopefest 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run is a charity race benefitting special needs children through the STM Options Program.
• Course: A 1 mile loop for walkers, children, and strollers.
• Participation: Not a runner? Come out and stroll for a good cause and enjoy all the festivities.
• Proceeds: All proceeds go to support special needs kids through the STM Options Program.

💰 Registration Information

• Cost: Pre-registration cost is $30: walk-up rate is $35.
• Deadline: Pre-registration ends on March 13th, 2025 at 7:00 PM.
• T-Shirts: Race t-shirts are guaranteed if registered by 3/5/25, otherwise it will be "first come first serve" on race day.
• Parking: Parking available at the Sports Complex.

🎶 Post-Race Festivities

• Event: Stick around after the race for the all-day Hopefest music festival.
• Food: Enjoy boiled crawfish, jambalaya, BBQ, fun jumps, face-painting, kids games, and much more.
• Fun: A great way to celebrate the community while supporting a good cause.

📦 Packet Pickup

• Date: Packet pickup will be held at Geaux Run on Friday, March 14th from 2 PM till 6 PM.
• Race Day Pickup: Packet pickup begins at the Youngsville Sports Complex Slemco Amphitheatre starting at 7:30 AM.

🏆 Awards and Recognition

• 5K Awards: Award certificates will be given to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers in all age groups.
• Cash Prizes: Cash prizes will be awarded to the overall winner in the male and female category.
• Age Groups: Categories include 9 & Under, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 & Over.

⏱️ Race Timing

• Timing: The race is professionally chip timed by Pelican Timing.
• Support: Charitable donations to support the cause for special needs kids will be available at the race.
