🎭 Event Details

• Beneficiary: The race will benefit the Teche Center for the Arts
• Course: A 5K walk/run through downtown historic Breaux Bridge, LA
• Incentive: All participants will receive a free entry and a free Bloody Mary after the race at the world-famous Zydeco Breakfast at Buck and Johnny's.
• Entry Requirement: Participants must show race bib for free entry to the breakfast. There will be a 1 Mile Fun Run.

🏃‍♀️ Virtual Race Option

• Option: This year we are offering a Virtual Race option for those who want to support our race but may not want to run or want to run it on your own time and pace.

🎖️ Awards & Recognition

• Most Spirited Award: This year we will have a Most Spirited award for the best costume showing your Spirit.
• First Responders: We will honor our First Responders with their own 5K category and awards.

👥 Team Registration

• Team Registration: We will be offering Team Registration.
• Recruit: The team with the most registered members will win a prize.
• Discount: Get a $5 discount off all of your team's registrations.
• Participation: Team registration is for doing the 1 Mile or the 5K.

💵 Registration Fees

• 5K or 1 Mile: $30 fee includes a t-shirt, a Bloody Mary and entry to the Zydeco Breakfast
• Team Registration (1M or 5K): $25 fee includes a t-shirt, a Bloody Mary and entry to the Zydeco Breakfast
• Virtual Race: $30 fee includes a t-shirt, a Bloody Mary and entry to the Zydeco Breakfast

📦 Packet Pickup

• Date: Friday, 9/12/25 from 12 pm - 7 pm at Buck and Johnny's in the Glassroom
• Location: 100 Berard Street, Breaux Bridge, LA
• Race Morning: Saturday, 9/13/25 from 6 am - 7 am in the Park

🏆 Awards Breakdown

• 5K: 1st, 2nd, 3rd Overall Male & Female, 1st, 2nd, 3rd in the age groups
• First Responders: 1st, 2nd, 3rd Overall Winners
• Team Award: The 5K Team with the most registered members gets an award
• 1 Mile: 1st, 2nd, 3rd Overall Winners
