🍀 Event Overview
The 12th annual Gallatin Shamrock Run takes place in Historic Downtown Gallatin, Tennessee on Saturday, March 8, 2025. It starts at the Gallatin City Hall and winds through beautiful downtown Gallatin. This primarily flat course is great for runners and walkers of all ages and abilities.
- Race Types: 5K and 10K available.
- Course: 10K participants will run the 5K course twice.
- Time Limits: 90 minutes for 10K and 60 minutes for 5K.
- Costumes: Participants are encouraged to dress up in their most creative St. Patrick’s Day attire.
🎉 Awards and Prizes
Prizes will be awarded to male and female finishers after the race. Awards will be presented for the best St. Patrick’s Day costume and the most team spirit BEFORE the race.

Primrose School of Gallatin presents this year’s race.
đź’° Proceeds
Proceeds from the Race go to the Gallatin Chamber Foundation. The Gallatin Chamber Foundation is the Gallatin Area Chamber of Commerce’s 501(c)3 component that exists to encourage, promote, and support innovative enhancement projects and creative initiatives within the City of Gallatin.

All Participants must complete the race by 9:00 AM.
đź“ť Helpful Tips and Important Information
- Road Closures: All roads included along the route will close between 6:45 am and 7:00 am!
- Arrival: We advise arriving by 6:30 AM - 6:45 AM at the latest.
- Get There Early: Expect lines for packet pick-up, registration, parking, and restrooms if you arrive too close to race time.
- Parking: Available along SMITH STREET. A parking map will be emailed before the race.
đźš« Rules and Regulations
- Registration Deadline: Participants must register by February 10, 2025, to be guaranteed a race shirt.
- Line Up: 10K ready by 7:00 AM, 5K by 7:15 AM. No starts after 7:30 AM.
- Cheering: Encourage family and friends to line up along the route.
- Backpacks: Only CLEAR backpacks allowed during the race.

Packet Pick Up: Friday, March 7th, 10 am to 5 pm, and 6:15 am on Saturday, March 8th. Location: The Station, (Gallatin Chamber of Commerce) 117 W Main Street, Gallatin, Tennessee. This is a NEW LOCATION.
🔄 Refunds and Weather Policy
No refunds will be issued for this event: however, registrations can be transferred to someone else through March 5, 2025. In case of inclement weather, updates will be sent via email and posted to social media.
