🏞️ Event Overview
The Oak Mountain Color Run is held in loving memory of Donald R. Ellison and Susan A. Powers. This event is held on one of the most beautiful trails in Alabama's largest state park. All proceeds go directly to cancer research with the O'Neal Comprehensive Cancer Center at UAB.
🗓️ Registration Information
- Sign-up Deadline: Last day to sign up online is March 6th.
- Walk-up Registration: Begins at 8:00 am the day of the race.

💰 Entrance Fees
- Adults (age 12+): $5
- Children (age 4 to 11): $2
- Seniors (age 62+): $2
- Free: Ages 3 and under
📅 Event Details and Schedule
Need to know:
- Park Entrance Fee: There will be signs directing you to registration the morning of the event. Signs will be set up from both entrances to the park.
- 8:00-8:45 am: Registration
- 8:50 am: Opening Ceremonies
- 9:00 am: Oak Mountain Color Run Begins!
- 10:00 am: Fun Run Begins
- 11:00 am: Grand Total Announced/Group Picture
- 12:00 pm: Event ends
👕 What to Wear
- Recommended Attire: White Shirt, Athletic Shorts, Running Shoes. A colored (non-toxic, washable) powder will be thrown at you during the run. If you pre-register, you will have the option to purchase an OMCR T-shirt, or you may bring your own white shirt to wear. There will be a limited quantity of shirts available for sale at the event.
