🏃‍♂️ Course Update

• New Start/Finish Location: At this time 10k and 5k race start and finish has been moved to the west end of Pt Mallard Park. The start will be on the road in front of the west entrance to the water park and archery range and the finish will be in the parking lot near the archery range pavilion.
• Course Routes: The course routes will be the same with the exception of the start and finish.
• Certification Links: Links to 10k and 5k USATF/RRCA Certified courses.
• Future Updates: If construction permits we will move the start and finish location back to their original locations near the east end of the water park.

🌸 Race Overview

• Tradition: For over three decades, the River City Run has been one of North Alabama’s most anticipated Spring RRCA runs.
• Charity Partner: We are proud to partner with The Committee on Church Cooperation as our Charity Sponsor.
• Race Options: Runners can participate in the 10K (PRIZE MONEY AWARDED), 10k & 5K, or all ages Fun Run.
• Course Features: The 10K and 5K courses are flat and fast, with the first 3.5 miles of the 10K run through quiet residential streets.

👕 T-Shirt & Registration

• T-Shirt Availability: T-shirts to the first 200 registered. Register early to guarantee size.
• Packet Pickup: Packet pickup and registration on Friday 3/28 from 11am to 1pm at Fleet Feet Madison, 181 Hughes Rd.
• Evening Registration: Packet pickup and registration on Friday 3/28 from 5 to 7pm at Cross Eyed Owl Brew Pub, 105 1st Av NE, Decatur.
• Race Day Pickup: Packet pickup and registration on race morning at Point Mallard Park Archery Range Pavilion beginning at 6:30am.
