RCR River City Run

🏃‍♂️ Course Update

• Location Change: At this time 10k and 5k race start and finish has been moved to the west end of Pt Mallard Park. The start will be on the road in front of the west entrance to the water park and archery range and the finish will be in the parking lot near the archery range pavilion.
• Route Consistency: The course routes will be the same with the exception of the start and finish.
• Course Certification: Links to 10k and 5k USATF/RRCA Certified courses.
• Original Location: If construction permits we will move the start and finish location back to their original locations near the east end of the water park.

🌼 Event Overview

• History: For over three decades, the River City Run has been one of North Alabama’s most anticipated Spring RRCA runs.
• Charity Partnership: We are proud to partner with The Committee on Church Cooperation as our Charity Sponsor.
• Race Options: Runners can participate in the 10K (*PRIZE MONEY AWARDED*), 10k & 5K, or all ages Fun Run.
• Course Details: The 10K and 5K courses are flat and fast with the first 3.5 miles of the 10K run through quiet residential streets. The finish of the 10K and the entire 5K is run on the park and golf course perimeter road which runs along the beautiful Tennessee River.

👕 T-Shirts and Registration

• Guaranteed T-Shirts: T-shirts to the first 200 registered. Register early to guarantee size.
• Packet Pickup 1: Packet pickup and registration on Friday 3/28 from 11am to 1pm at Fleet Feet Madison, 181 Hughes Rd.
• Packet Pickup 2: Packet pickup and registration on Friday 3/28 from 5 to 7pm at Cross Eyed Owl Brew Pub, 105 1st Av NE, Decatur.
• Race Day Pickup: Packet pickup and registration on race morning at Point Mallard Park Archery Range Pavilion beginning at 6:30am.
