Rotary Glow 5K

🌟 Race Overview

Come get your GLOW on at the beach for this FUN run, a FUNdraiser hosted by the Rotary Club of Downtown Ormond Beach on Saturday, March 8, 2025. Registration begins at approximately 5:15 p.m., which is approximately 60-90 min. prior to race start of 6:45 p.m. (start time approximate based on sunset, will be adjusted as date approaches). This will be a timed event. Kids 10 and under run free!

Get ready for an evening of glow in the dark fun on the beach for our SIXTH ANNUAL Glow 5k on!! Our Annual GLOW 5K has been a huge success in its last years, that we’re doing it again this year, even bigger and better!!

• Registration: Begins at approximately 5:15 p.m.
• Race Start: 6:45 p.m. (start time approximate based on sunset)
• Location: 301 Cardinal Drive, Ormond Beach, FL 32176 ON THE BEACH at the Ormond Beach Patrol Headquarters at Cardinal Drive Beach Approach
• Age Requirement: Kids 10 and under run free!

🎉 Race Highlights

The GLOW 5K sponsored by the Rotary Club of Downtown Ormond Beach is our signature event for raising funds for our community projects. So get your GLOW on… dress up in your brightest neon and glow in the dark colors. We will have GLOW products for runners to brighten up their costumes. Make it great as we will have a prize for the Best GLOW costume contest. Want to create a Group to run… GREAT… just create a great name for your group and sign up? Get your family, friends, co-workers, neighbors, and classmates to sign up today in your group. The more the merrier as we run down the beach raising money for Rotary Club of Downtown Ormond Beach’s Service Projects.

🥇 Awards and Prizes

• Participants Receive: Glow Run T-Shirt, Glow Products, Participation Medal, Goodie Bag (while supplies last).
• Finishers: Medals for all finishers.
• Special Medals: First, Second and Third Place in Age Groups for Men's and Women's.
• Grand Prizes: Special Prizes for Overall Fastest Man and Woman (TBD).

• Early Bird: $40 – Through 01/10/25
• Advance Pricing: $45 – Through 2/7/25
• Race Day: $50 – through Race Day (3/8/25)
• Kids: Kids 10 and under run free!

📅 Packet Pick-Up

Bibs & Bags will be available for pickup on Friday, March 7, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. through 6:00 p.m. (Location TBD). Runners may also check-in on the day of the race at the race location 30-60 minutes prior to the race.

SERVICE ABOVE SELF is what Rotary is all about! This event is a fundraiser for the service projects, local and abroad, that Rotary Club of Downtown Ormond Beach supports. Proceeds from this race will benefit projects and charitable causes supported by the Rotary Club of Downtown Ormond Beach, including but not limited to our Rotary Downtown Fit Loop at the 4 corners of the Granada Bridge, and support for Ormond Beach Elementary School, Gold Choice senior home, and more.

• When: 5:15p Registration & Vendor Tables / 6:45p Start, Saturday, March 8, 2025, ON THE BEACH!
• Distance: 5K is 3.1 miles
• Timing: Chip timed race: all participants will receive a bib with a chip attached.
• Shirt Guarantee: Only pre-registered runners that complete registration before February 7, 2025 are guaranteed a free race shirt.

Emergency Services will be contacted for any emergencies. A beach safety specialist has been requested to be on site. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed on the course to ensure participant safety. We appreciate your race registration, but there is a no refund policy. The race is a "rain or shine" event: participants are encouraged to dress appropriately for the weather. No entry transfers are permitted.
