Enjoy the marathon and half marathon entirely within Callaway Resort & Gardens on one of the most beautiful courses that you'll ever run! Pass the Day Butterfly Center, Callaway Discovery Center, the Ida Cason Memorial Chapel, the Callaway Brothers Azalea Bowl and enjoy the gentle rolling hills. If you've never run at Callaway Gardens you've got a real treat coming to you!

📅 Event Details and Schedule

We are excited to have you join us on March 8 for the first race of the Race Series at Callaway Resort & Gardens - Marathon, Half Marathon, and 5K.

Start Time: Marathon & Half Marathon begin at approximately 7:30AM: 5k starts at approximately 8:15
Packet Pick Up: At Robin Lake Beach Pavilion, Friday 5:00pm - 6:00pm, Saturday from 6:00am - 7:15am.
Entry: Please bring your race confirmation email for free entry into the gardens.
Race Bibs: Must be worn on the front of your body and remain unfolded for proper timing.

🗺️ Maps and Course

An online course map can be found here. The Marathon is 2 loops of the half course. The 5K loops around Robin Lake Beach.

Aid Stations: 6-7 aid stations along the half course approx 1.5-2 miles apart.
Supplies: Portapotties, Cerasport, water, gels, pickle juice, coke, pretzels/chips, etc will be available.
Pacers: For the marathon/half marathon in 15 min increments.

🏆 Awards

Awards to top 3 finishers in the 5K, Half Marathon, and Marathon. Age group awards 3 deep for 5K, Half Marathon, and Marathon: Finisher medals for all participants of all races. Awards will be presented at various times throughout the day based on race completion.

5K Awards: Approximately 9:30am
Half Marathon Awards: Approximately 11am
Marathon Awards: Approximately 12:30/1pm
Subject to Change: Awards times are subject to change based on average finish times.

🛣️ Directions

From Atlanta take I-85 south to I-185. Go left on Hwy 27 to Pine Mountain and find Callaway Gardens beach entrance on your right.

💰 Refund Policy

We do not offer refunds for races. With supporting documentation and under extreme circumstances, you may contact Tricolumbusga@gmail.com to see if a deferral is possible.

🌧️ Weather Policy

In the event of inclement weather, Race Management has the right to change, eliminate parts of the course, or delay up to a point. If it is deemed too dangerous to race, the event will be canceled with no refunds.
