The TriCity Area has quickly become a Triathlon Mecca. It is home to a long distance triathlons, sprints, olympics, duathlons, adventure races, and off-road duathlons. The 4-6ft down river swims, fast and flat bike course, and the flat and scenic run course appeal to both the beginner and advanced triathlete.
Triathlons, especially Sprint races should be fun and fast!
500m downstream. The river depths are approximately 4-6 ft in depth. The closer to shore, the shallower the water. All entries down the water slide must be feet first... no exceptions. Should an athlete not want to use the slide start, the use of the steps to the waters edge is permitted once the athlete crosses the timing mat. The start is conducted in a "time-trial" fashion. Athletes start one at a time.
12 miles - The bike course begins and ends on Brickyard Road. This is a very fast and flat out and back course.
3.1 miles - The run course is a very flat 1-loop course. An aid station is located approximately 200 yds out of transition. You will pass this aid station twice.
Categories: Male/Female: Under 14 then 15-19 in 5 year increments up to 70+. Top 3 overall Male/Female and top 3 in age group. Relay will be top 3. Each participant will get a cool medal and t-shirt. Triathletes will be provided a swim cap.

If the weather conditions are hazardous, Race Management has the right to change, eliminate parts of the course, or delay up to a point. However, if it is deemed too dangerous to race, the event will be canceled and there will be no refunds. Your safety is our utmost concern.
We do not offer refunds for races. With supporting documentation and under extreme circumstances, you may contact tricolumbusga@gmail.com to see if a deferral is possible.
