10th Annual Viking Turkey Trot 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run

Get ready to celebrate 10 years of the Viking Turkey Trot! Join us on Saturday, November 9th for this spirited event benefiting St. Anne-Pacelli's Cross Country and Soccer teams. Over the past decade, the Viking Turkey Trot has become a beloved, fall event, drawing runners, walkers, students, families, and alumni together for a morning of fun!

Both the 5K course weaves through campus and along our perimeter, while our Fun Run offers a shorter, family-friendly option, perfect for little trotters or those looking to enjoy a beautiful, brisk morning and a leisurely pace. Whether you're a seasoned runner, or just here for the fun, this event always kicks off the holiday season with festive fun!

Wear your best turkey-themed, or Viking, attire, enjoy post-race treats, and help us celebrate this milestone year! Be a part of this decade-long tradition of community and support for our student-athletes!

📝 Registration Options

• 1 Mile Fun Run 4-18 years old: participants 3 and under are free
• 1 Mile Fun Run 19+ years old: open for all participants
• 5K All Ages: family-friendly race for everyone
• Deadline: Registering by October 30th ensures your event participant t-shirt!

💼 Sponsorship Opportunities

If you would like to sponsor this event, there are two levels of sponsorship:

• Turkey Trot Banner Sponsor $150: includes one race registration and business logo or name printed on the event banner
• Turkey Trot T-Shirt Sponsor $400: includes two race registrations, business logo or name printed on the event banner and event t-shirt, opportunity to share promotional items with runners in race bags, and recognition in promotions

📅 Packet Pickup

Packet pickup will take place on Friday, November 8th from 2-6 p.m. at The Land, St. Anne-Pacelli's Gym, 2020 Kay Circle, Columbus, GA 31907.

🏅 Prizes and Results

Prizes for this year's race include a medal and turkey to the overall top male and female, as well as top participant (male and female) in all age groups - 12 & under, 13-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-59, and 50 & over age groups. The 2nd and 3rd place finishers in each age group (male and female) will receive a medal.

🚦 Day-of-the-Race Information

• Parking: Please park in the school's/church's Kay Circle parking lot.
• Packet Pickup: Day-of Packet Pick-Up and race registration will begin at 7:30 a.m.
• Refreshments: Jambalaya, fruit, treats, and drinks will be available for all participants.
• Course Guidance: The course is marked at intervals with signs and guidance along the roadways.
