AZ Walk of Courage 10K - 5K - 1M

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

• Organization: Please join Changed by Fire for the 6th annual AZ Walk of Courage.
• Benefit: Proceeds from this event benefit Changed by Fire and other local organizations.
• Purpose: The AZ Walk of Courage was created to advocate for burn survivors, create awareness, and build a community of inclusion, love & healing.
• Date & Location: March 23, 2025 at 8866 W. Thunderbird Road, Peoria, AZ.

🗓️ Event Details and Schedule

• Mail-in Registration: To register by mail please complete and return our Mail-in Registration Form.
• Virtual Option: Can't make it to this year's event but still want to participate? This event features a virtual option.
• Participation: All virtual race participants will receive a custom event finisher's medal and custom event dri-fit tech t-shirt.
• Instructions: Prior to the event, all virtual participants will receive an email with instructions on how to submit your time.

• Medal: Custom Event Finisher's Medal.
• T-Shirt: Custom Event Dri-Fit Tech T-Shirt.
• Awards: Age Group Awards for Top Three in all Age Groups (Race Day Participants only).
• Brunch: Pre- and Post-Race "Runner's Brunch" (granola bars, fruit, water, Gatorade, etc).

📅 Race Day Information

• Registration Fees: 10K - $45, 5K - $40, 1 Mile - $35.
• Access: We welcome wheelchairs, strollers & wagons.
• Course Restrictions: No roller blades/skates, skateboards or motorized devices are allowed.
• Event Nature: This event will take place rain or shine. There are no refunds due to weather.

📦 Packet Pick-up Opportunities

• Date: Saturday, March 22, 2025 from 2:00 - 5:00pm at Tortoise and Hare Sports in Glendale.
• Location: Tortoise and Hare is located at 17570 N 75th Avenue, Glendale, AZ 85308 (map).
• Race Day Pickup: You can also pickup your packet on race day starting at 7am.

🕘 Event Schedule

• March 22: 2:00 PM - Pre-Race Packet Pickup at Tortoise and Hare.
• March 23: 7:00 AM - Race Day Packet Pickup Opens.
• March 23: 8:00 AM - 10K Start Begins.
• March 23: 9:00 AM - Awards Ceremony Begins (approx).
