2024 Turkey Stampede 10K Run, 5K Run, & 1 Mile Walk

We are so excited to host our 16th race!

A family event for a family day! Thanksgiving is such a wonderful family time! And a time of gratitude for all we have!

Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 28 @: 8:30 am at the Elkhart Health & Aquatics Center, 200 East Jackson, Elkhart IN.

⏰ Race Day Details

Arrival Time: Please arrive before 8:00 AM on race day
Schedule: 10K starts at 8:30am, 5K at 8:35am, and the Mile Walk at 8:38am
Pricing: Includes timed race entry fee for 10K and 5K (Mile walk is untimed), finisher medals for all participants, and post-race refreshments.
Shirts: Custom shirts are optional and an additional $15.

🏃‍♀️ Join the Fun

Come join us in the morning for some fresh air and movement before your family festivities! This is NOT intended to take up your entire morning - just come out, be with the community, move a bit, work up an appetite, and then get back to your plans! Remember to look out for those folks who might not have a place to go on Thanksgiving, and invite them to participate with you!

👥 Group Registrations

We LOVE groups: If you have a group of people (3 or more), you can register everyone all at once.
Group Name: Create a group name to facilitate easy packet pickup.
Deadline: Please register by Friday, November 22, 2024.

📦 Registration and Packet Pickup

Online Registration: Goes through to the race start.
Cash/Check: You may pay in cash or check onsite at the cash line.
Pickup Times:
- November 26 from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm at Fleet Feet Mishawaka
- November 27 from Noon - 6pm at the Elkhart Health & Aquatics Center
- November 28 from 6:30am - 8:00 am on race day
Shirt Sales: Extra 2024 shirts for $15 and 2023 shirts for $5.

8:15 am: Gather by the Start Line on Jackson @: Clark
8:20 am: Welcome and Prayer
8:30 am: 10K Starts - countdown will be our start!

🏅 Results and Awards

No Official Ceremony: There is no official awards ceremony: all participants will receive a finisher medal.
Turkey Awards: Given to the top three overall men and women in the 5K and 10K.
Catch the Turkey: $25 cash prize to the first male and female to catch the human dressed up as a turkey.
Results: Posted online at Runsignup.com and EpicRaceTiming.com.

🚗 Parking Information

Parking will be in the adjacent lots around Beacon Health & Aquatics, including lots by Hacienda, Civic Plaza, Innova Credit Union, and NIBCO water and ice park. The start and finish of the race will be in front of the new parking lot on Jackson @: Clark Street.
