Resolution Run 5K Run/Walk and 1 mile Stroll

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

This will be the 11th Resolution Run 5K run/walk and 1 mile fun walk to benefit the Middlebury Food Pantry. What a great way to start the New Year with some POSITIVE energy towards a very good cause!

💰 Entry Fees

• Individual Fee: $18 for individuals.
• Family Fee: $40 for families.
• Shirts: Long sleeve shirts are optional and an additional $16.
• Payment: We accept cash, checks or credit cards onsite.

🏞️ Course Details

• Start/Finish: The course starts and finishes at the Essen Haus Inn and Conference Center.
• Trails: Both courses utilize the Pumpkinvine Trail and Ridge Trails.

📅 Registration and Timing

Onsite Registration and Packet Pickup: On Wednesday, January 1, 2025 at Essen Haus Inn and Conference Center, where we will gather pre and post race.

The 5K run/walk race starts at 10:00 am. The Mile Walk will follow just after the 5K takes off. You can stay up and ring in the New Year, and still get a good night's sleep before coming out to join your friends for a scenic morning on the trail!

📝 Event Information

• 5K Entry: Your 5K entry fee includes a timed entry, finisher treats and various age group awards.
• Mile Entry: Includes an untimed entry and finisher treats.
• Shirts: Optional and an additional $16.

🚗 Parking

Ample Parking right there at the Essen Haus Inn and Conference Center.

🏁 Race Logistics

• Starting Line: The starting line is right out on Wayne Street. We will walk everyone out together and wait for the police to close the road before we start.
• Finish Line: You will finish on a path BEHIND the Essen Haus, protected from traffic and proceed around the Inn (not through the Inn) back to our room for warm cocoa and treats.

🏆 Awards

• Overall Awards: Top 3 Overall MF and 3 deep AG awards in 15 age groups.
• Mile Race: The Mile is not timed.

📈 Results

THTIming.com will be the timer onsite. Results will be pushed to the website. You can opt in to receive texts with your finisher times.

🍪 Post Race Refreshments

After the race come in for some refreshments and the awards. Please enter and exit through the Conference side (Wayne Street side) not the hotel/Inn entrance as it becomes quite drafty for the hotel patrons. We appreciate your consideration.
