🍏 Nappanee Apple Festival Donut Dash 5K

The Nappanee Apple Festival Donut Dash 5K will take place on September 20, 2025, at Nappanee Elementary School, located at 755 E Van Buren St, Nappanee, IN.

• Start and Finish Location: Nappanee Elementary School.
• All Runners Welcome: Whether you are an experienced competitive runner or a beginner, everyone is welcome!

• New Distance: Adding a 1 mile (13 and Up) run and 5K and 1M Combo.

🕒 Start Times

• 1 Mile Run: Starts at 8:00 AM.
• 5K Run/Walk: Starts at 8:30 AM.

📦 Packet Pickup

Packet pickup will be held Friday night, September 19 from 6-8 PM &: Saturday morning, September 20 from 7 AM - 8:15 AM at Nappanee Elementary School. Participants will be able to pick up their shirts and race bibs.

👕 Shirts

After August 17 shirts are first come, first serve until we run out!! If you do not pick up your shirt at the event, unclaimed shirts will not be mailed out. Shirts will be given to runners that could not get a shirt or donated.

💰 Registration Fees

• Early Registration: Opens for the 5K only from November 28, 2024, till April 27 for $15.00, part of the Maple Syrup &: Donut Dash 5K Bundle.
• Various Dates: Registration fees vary by date: please see the full breakdown for each period.
• Online Registration: Ends on September 20, 2025, at 8:30 AM.

🍏 Refreshments

All participants will receive apple, donut and apple cider at the finish line.

🏆 Awards

1 Mile Awards for ages 12 and under &: 13 and under will be given to the top 3 boys and 3 girls. Overall prizes for the 5K will be awarded to the top three men and women.

Awards for 5K age groups: Top 3 male &: female runners will receive custom apple awards. Age breakdowns vary.

Awards will be given out soon after the last person crosses the finish line. No awards will be mailed after the event.

• Parking: Available at Nappanee Elementary School.
• Bathrooms: Facilities are available at the school.

🛑 Street Closures

East Marion St (starting line area) will be closed from 7 AM - 10 AM on race morning.

🐕 Dog Guidelines

All dogs must be kept on a NON-retractable leash and under supervision at all times. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs. Any dog displaying aggressive behavior must be immediately removed from the race.

🏃‍♂️ Shuttles

There is a shuttle at Nappanee Elementary to take you to Downtown Nappanee to the Nappanee Apple Festival.

📅 Race Day Registration

Race day registration will be online only...NO PAPER REGISTRATION ON RACE DAY.
