The Nappanee Apple Festival Donut Dash 5K will take place on September 20, 2025, at Nappanee Elementary School, located at 755 E Van Buren St, Nappanee, IN.

🎉 Event Details

• Start/Finish: The event will start and finish at Nappanee Elementary School.
• All Welcome: Whether you are an experienced competitive runner or a beginner, everyone is welcome!
• Post-Race Fun: After your run or walk, take some time to enjoy the small-town shops and all that the Nappanee Apple Festival has to offer with family and friends!

New this year we are adding a 1 mile (13 and Up) run and 5K and 1M Combo.

🕗 Start Times

• 1 Mile Run: Starts at 8:00 AM
• 5K Run/Walk: Starts at 8:30 AM

📦 Packet Pickup

Will be held Friday night September 19 from 6-8 PM & Saturday morning September 20 from 7 AM - 8:15 AM at Nappanee Elementary School. Participants will be able to pick up their shirts and race bibs.

👕 Shirts

After August 17 shirts are first come, first serve until we run out!! If you do not pick up your shirt at the event, unclaimed shirts will not be mailed out.

🗓️ Event Dates and Registration Fees

• Registration Opens: For the 5K only from November 28, 2024, till April 27 for $15.00 as part of the Maple Syrup & Donut Dash 5K Bundle.
• April 27 - 30: $15 for 5K, $5 for 1 Mile Runs, $15 for 1 Mile & 5K Combo.
• Online Registration Ends: On September 20, 2025, at 8:30 AM.

🍏 Refreshments

All participants will receive apple, donut, and apple cider at the finish line.

🏆 Awards

• 1 Mile Awards: Top 3 boys and 3 girls in ages 12 and under & 13 and under.
• Overall Prizes: Top three men and women for the 5K.
• Age Grouping: The top 3 male & female runners will receive custom apple awards.

🚗 Parking & Bathrooms

Parking and bathrooms are available at Nappanee Elementary School.

🐶 Guidelines for Dogs

All dogs must be kept on a NON-retractable leash and under supervision at all times. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs. Any dog displaying aggressive behavior must be immediately removed from the race by its owner.

🚌 Shuttles

There is a shuttle at Nappanee Elementary to take you to Downtown Nappanee to the Nappanee Apple Festival.
