Scholar Sprint

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

The Scholar Sprint Races are a One Mile Fun Run, 5K and 10K. This race is sponsored by Argos Dollars for Scholars, and will start and finish in the Argos Community Park, Argos, IN. (Parking is located in the Park, Please use the South entrance into the park, State Road 10 entrance).

• Premium Giveaway: T-shirts will be the premium giveaway.
• Registration Deadline: Price increase when registering after June 5, 2025.
• Online Registration: Online registration open until Friday, June 21, 2025.
• Shirt Guarantee: T-shirts not guaranteed after June 7.

🥇 Awards

• Medals: First and Second Place Medals: Male and Female for 5K & 10K events.
• Fun Run: Participant Medals.
• 5K Fireman’s Challenge: Traveling trophy awarded to the first-place fireman in the 5K.
• Age Group Medals: Age groups include 20-25, 26-30, 31-35, 36-40, 41-45, 46-50, 51-55, 56-60, 61-65, 66-70, 71-75, 76-80.

• Date: Saturday, June 21, 2025.
• Place: Argos Community Park, 560 W Walnut Street, Argos, IN 46501.
• Start Times: Fun Run 8:00 AM, 10K 8:15 AM, 5K 8:30 AM.
• Registration: Race day registration and packet pick-up will be available at 7:00 AM Saturday, June 21, 2025.

💧 Course and Support

• Course Details: One Mile Fun Run is a paved path winding throughout the Argos Community Park.
• 5K Course: A beautiful flat fast course that travels an out and back loop through the Town of Argos.
• 10K Course: A flat and fast course winding through the Town of Argos and the beautiful countryside of Marshall County.
• Water Stations: Water stations available along the 5K and 10K routes.

🏫 About the Event

This race is to support Argos Dollars for Scholars, a not-for-profit organization comprised of volunteers. The organization raises funds to support scholarships awarded to graduating Argos Seniors who wish to pursue a secondary education. Your contribution is tax deductible and supports a wonderful organization focused on promoting education and trade skill development.
