🏃♂️ Event Overview
- Purpose: This 5K Run/Walk is to raise money for the Alzheimer's Association.
- Team Achievement: Team Lakewood, which is comprised of residents and staff of the Lakewood Retirement Community, is the top fundraiser in the history of Richmond's Walk to End Alzheimer's.
- National Ranking: In 2024 we ranked 34th nationwide in the event, which had over 55,000 teams.
- Fundraising Goal: We hope to raise over $65,000 this year to support this organization, which supports persons living with Alzheimer's, their caregivers, and research.
📅 Race Details
- Date: The official timed in-person 5K takes place on March 21, 2025.
- Time: The race starts at 9:00 am.
- Location: Deep Run Park, Henrico, VA.
- Virtual Option: The virtual 5K may be completed anytime between noon Saturday, March 22, and midnight Wednesday, March 26.

- Participation: You can help find a cure by participating in our third annual Lakewood/Alzheimer's 5K!
- Donation: 100% of the net profit from this race will be donated to the Alzheimer's Association.
