🏃♂️ Ashland Railroad Run Overview
Join us for our 46th year racing the rails in lovely Ashland, Virginia. All proceeds benefit the Hanover Arts & Activities Center. For this year’s event, we are partnered with Arsenal Events and will have in person and virtual options.
🌟 Event Highlights
- Course Details: A 10K RAILS to TRAILS race, a favorite spring ritual for runners near and far.
- Location: Start and finish "on the tracks" in our picturesque railroad town, known as the "Center of the Universe"!
- Race Events: Includes 10K, 5K Walk/Run, Kids Fun Run, and the COTU Challenge (race both the 5K and 10K!).
- Post-Race: Stay after the race and enjoy all that Ashland has to offer.
🎖️ Awards Information
- 10K Awards: First, second, and third place in each gender.
- 5K and COTU Challenge: First place in each gender.
- Fun Run: Prizes for all finishers.
- Registration Deadline: Shirt availability and sizes cannot be guaranteed if registered after March 4th.
👕 Tech-Shirts and Pickup
Virtual runners will need to pick up their shirts during packet pickup. Shirts for virtual non-local entries can be shipped for a flat rate of $10. A $5 discount is available for choosing the no shirt option.
🚰 Course Accessibility
- 5K Course: Suitable for wheelchairs and strollers.
- 10K Course: NOT suitable for strollers or wheelchairs.
- Water Stations: There are 2 water stations along the course.
- Packet Pickup: In person at Hanover Arts & Activities Center, March 21st from 5-7pm and March 22nd beginning at 7am.
