Have you ever been told that you run funny? This is the race for you! Join your favorite CSz Richmond players in the funniest 5K fundraiser you've ever run. All proceeds go towards our nonprofit comedy theater, which has helped Richmond-area families laugh for more than 25 years.

🏃‍♂️ Event Details

• Date: March 30, 2025
• Location: 9900 Ridgefield Pkwy, Henrico, VA
• Kids Run: Starting the day with approximately one-mile kids run around the lake.
• 5K Race: Not officially timed, so there’s no pressure to run fast!

😂 Course and Activities

Need a joke to help you keep running? Your favorite CSz improv performers will be along the course to make sure you don’t get lost but DO get a laugh. Run, walk, skip, or sashay. This is the run with no judgement, whatsoever. Families, pets, and costumes encouraged.

👶 Kids Participation

Kids signing up for the 1 Mile run are welcome to join their parents/guardians in the 5K for free.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

• Do I have to run? No! Lots of participants will be walking. Some may be dancing. One unfortunate bozo will probably try to pogo stick.
• Can I bring my pet? Yes! Well-behaved dogs and goldfish are welcome on the course. Cats will probably just mock you.
• Can I run with a stroller? Of course. Or a shopping cart filled with Doritos. We won't judge.
• Is this race officially timed? No, but unofficially you can wear a watch.

🤔 Additional Questions

• If my kid wants to run both the 5K and the 1 Mile Run, do they have to sign up for both? Nope, the 1 Mile Run includes free admission to the 5K Funny Run.
• How was the 5K course measured? We used advanced AI terrain mapping to pinpoint the distance to the nearest 0.5 millimeter, taking into account changes in altitude and the curvature of the earth. Just kidding. We're actually just running the same route as the regular Parkrun.
• Will you be publishing results after the race? No, this is a fun run. You know how you did.
• Will this run make me funnier? Probably, but in case it does not we offer amazing comedy classes for adults and kids.
