Are you ready to test your limits, both mental and physical? Whether you're a seasoned ultra-runner or looking for a fresh challenge, the Last Stand Backyard Ultra is an unforgettable experience filled with endurance, strategy, and camaraderie.

🏅 The Backyard Ultra

This isn’t just a race—it’s a battle of perseverance and grit. The Backyard Ultra takes place on a 4.18-mile scenic course, with start times beginning at 8:00 AM and repeating every hour, on the hour. Runners have just one hour to complete the loop and return to the start line, ready to begin again. The race continues until only one runner remains who can finish the loop and start the next on time.

• Challenge: This race will test your mental fortitude, physical toughness, and strategic thinking.
• Refreshments: Available at the start line, but participants are encouraged to bring a support crew.
• All levels: Not ready for an ultra? Set your own lap or distance goal and show up to test your limits!
• Time: Cumulative mileage listed for each hour starting at 8 AM.

🌟 Ultra Mini Event

If you would like to get the feel of what race day for an ultra is like but don't want to run 30 or 40 or 50 miles, we are doing something a little crazy! $20.00 to come out and run a loop or two with the ultra runners and experience the excitement of long-distance endurance running with no pressure.
