Run 2 End Hunger

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

Continue the tradition in-person! Run -or- Walk a 5k or 2 miles! Each Thanksgiving Day the Utica Roadrunners host their annual Run 2 End Hunger with 100% of all the proceeds benefiting local nonprofit food pantries. This event has been running for 39 consecutive years on Thanksgiving morning! The run follows the Utica Roadrunners' Wednesday night 5K and 2 mile Development Run courses through Valley View and The Eagle paved pathways.

📅 Event Details

• Date: Thursday, November 28, 2024
• Registration Fee: $10 or $25 per family (3 or more participants)
• Food Donation: Minimum of 3 nonperishable items per person
• Registration Options: RunSignup -or- in-person on Thanksgiving Day

📍 Location

Registration will take place at the Utica Recreation Center, located at 220 Memorial Parkway, starting at 7:30am until 8:30am. If registering a family, please select the family option one time to register the entire family.

🕘 Race Start Time

The 5K Run and 2 Mile Walk will start promptly at 9:00am. For those bringing children under the age of 18, a waiver form will need to be filled out during in-person registration.

📦 Food Donations

All food donations (minimum of 3 nonperishable items per person) can be dropped off prior upon entering the Utica Recreation Center that morning. We’d like to give a special thanks for the support of the Greater Utica Sunrise Rotary Club, for their time collecting food on Thanksgiving morning.

📝 Day of In-person Registration

• When: Thursday, November 28th, 7:30am-8:30am
• Where: Utica Recreation Center, 220 Memorial Parkway, Utica (inside gymnasium)
