New Years Day 5K & Kids Run

🎉 Race Overview

Our Fifth Annual Utica Roadrunners New Year's Day Membership Run will occur on January 1, 2025!

💰 Registration Details

• Free Entry: This race is FREE for anyone who is a Utica Roadrunner Club Member on 1/1/25 - so make sure that you are signed up or renew your membership TODAY!
• Membership Update: You’ll need to have your membership already updated at this link to get the discount making your run FREE!
• Non-Member Fee: Non-members are invited to join this run for $12.
• Sign-Up Incentive: If you do sign-up for membership by Jan 31st, 2024, we’ll give you a $12 credit toward any of our 4 major races or the 4-Pack Challenge!

📍 Location

Place - Accelerate Sports Complex - 5421 Judd Rd. Whitesboro

🕗 Event Schedule

• Day-of Registration: Will start at 8:30 AM. Anyone who is signed up online only needs to check in and receive a raffle ticket for door prizes.
• UR Gear Incentive: If you show up in UR gear (red jackets count!), you will get a second raffle ticket!
• Kids Run: Starts at 9:15 a.m. There will be two runs to choose from (1 Lap or 2 Laps around the elevated track). All kids that run will receive a prize! All kids run FREE!
• 5K Start: Set for 10 a.m. The run is an out and back starting on Judd Rd. by the Kurt Wyman Park Entrance (across from Accelerate Sports).

🛤️ 5K Course Details

Runners will run to Halsey Rd., turn left, and run up Halsey Rd. on the sidewalk to Gibson Rd. Runners will then turn onto Gibson Rd. and run on the sidewalk to the Whitestown Town Park to the second entrance to the parking lot where the turn around will be. Runners will then run down Gibson Rd. on the right side of the road to Halsey Rd. Runners will then turn right to return on the sidewalk to Judd Rd. and finish on Judd Rd. There will be one water station located at the Whitestown Park Entrance on Gibson Rd where the turn around is located. Roads will be open to cars so please note traffic and stick to the right along Gibson and Judd Roads.

🎊 Post Run Festivities

After the run we will gather inside Accelerate. They have generously staffed the facility for us, so we’re encouraging all runners to use their smoothie and coffee bar for post race refreshments! Please bring a few dollars for your favorite post run snack. This run is also a great time to get a view/tour of Accelerate!

🏅 Membership Discounts

Accelerate has also extended the following discount to all Utica Roadrunners members:

• Individual Track Membership: $50 for an Annual Track Membership
• Family Track Membership: $75 for an Annual Track Membership
