- Activities: Join us for a timed 5k, casual fun run/walk, scavenger hunt, face painting, raffles, and more!
- Beneficiary: All proceeds benefit The Cure Starts Now to fund pediatric brain cancer research in honor of Sophie, Elena, Cece, Jack, Lauren, Wyatt, Erin, Sarah, Reese, and all children battling cancers.
🏃♀️ History
- Establishment: Sophie’s Angel Run has been a staple of the West Side of Cincinnati since 2007.
- Community Involvement: The event annually attracts thousands of families, friends, and runners.
- Origin: The Meinhardt Family started the event after losing their daughter Sophie to a rare and aggressive brain tumor.
- Fundraising: In 2021 the campaign raised over $85,000 which benefitted Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and provided $5,000 in scholarships to local students.
💖 Remembering Sophie
