🦃 ARR Thanksgiving Day Classic

Begin your Thanksgiving celebration with our annual Thanksgiving Day Classic races starting and ending at the Peoria Sports Complex. This event features three distances: 10 Mile, 5K, and 1 Mile Fun Run. With 3 different distances, there is something for everyone in your family to enjoy! Custom finisher medals for all participants in all races.

🎉 Charity Support

• Proceeds: A portion of the proceeds from the race will be donated to the Peoria Diamond Club that provide grants to many local charities including Special Olympics Arizona. You can find out more here.
• Donation: To date, Arizona Road Racers has donated over $65,000 to these charity efforts.
• Toy Drive: We will also be collecting unwrapped toys for the Peoria Toy drive. These can be dropped off race day morning or at packet pickup at various locations.

👕 Race T-Shirts

• Shirts included: This race will feature a long-sleeve technical shirt that is included in adult registrations for the 5K and 10 miler and all 1 mile fun run participants.
• Youth shirts: For the Youth entries, shirts are available for $15.
• Size availability: Register early to ensure your size is available. Note that the women's shirts run small.

⏰ Race Information

• Cut-off time: PLEASE NOTE - There will be a 9:40 am cut-off for the safety of participants and course workers, which equates to a 13 minute/mile pace for the 10 Mile race. Finishers after this time will not qualify for an age group award pie.
• Registration: Race registration will close on Race Day November 28th at 6:59 am and can only be done online through RunSignUp. There will be no paper registrations on Race Day.

🕒 Start Times

• 10 Mile: 7:30 a.m.
• 5K: 8:15 a.m.
• 1 Mile Fun Run: 8:25 a.m.

🥧 Awards

• Pies: Pies will be awarded to the top three winners of each age group for the 5K and 10 mile races.
• Categories: 5K awards are for ages 10 & under, 11-13, 14-17, and others up to 80+: similar categories for 10 mile awards.
• Ceremony time: The 5K awards ceremony will start at approximately 8:45.
• Finishers medals: All participants will receive finisher medals.

👶 Strollers and Baby Joggers

Strollers and baby-joggers are allowed but must start at the back of the pack for everyone's safety.

📦 Early Packet Pickup & Toy Drive Drop-off

• Runner’s Den: Sunday 11/24 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at 6505 N 16 St, Phoenix, 85016.
• TBD Location: Tortoise & Hare at 17570 N. 75th Ave, #605, Glendale AZ 85308.
• Peoria Sports Complex: Wednesday, 11/27 from noon to 6 pm at 16101 N 83rd Ave, Peoria, 85382.
• Race Day Pickup: Thursday from 6:30-7:45 am at Peoria Sports Complex.
