🏃♀️ Race Overview
- Event Host: Join WellStyles and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona for a walk/run event in the City of Glendale.
- Who Can Participate: The event is open to all City of Glendale employees, family, friends, and community members.
- Cost: The cost is just $10.00, and children 12 and under are free.
- Registration Deadline: Register by January 28 to be guaranteed an event t-shirt.
📅 Event Schedule
- 8:00 am: Registration
- 9:00 am: 5k run/walk starts.
- 9:10 am: 1-mile walk starts.
- 9:00 am - 11:30 am: Free Community Wellness Fair following the race.
- 9:30 am - 12:30 pm: Free Rock Wall Climb inside the Foothills Recreation and Aquatics Center
🥇 What You Get!
- Awards: Thanks to CHWP Expos, Gift Cards will be awarded to the top 3 male and female 5K finishers!
- Finisher Medal: Finisher medal for all 5K or 1-mile finishers.
- Event T-shirt: Sign up by January 28 to be guaranteed a shirt: first 600 registered participants.
- Post-race Perks: Refreshments, water stations on the course, race bib, and chip-timed results.
🅿️ Parking Information
- Parking: Free parking is available in the Foothills Recreation and Aquatic Center main lot.
- Overflow Parking: Available at adjacent City of Glendale facilities.
- Foothills Park/Skate Park: Located at 5752 W. Union Hills Drive.
- Foothills Library: 19055 N. 57th Avenue (access through Utopia- 57th Avenue will be closed between Union Hills and Utopia for the event).
