To get to the finish line you can run, walk, jog...or Dash for a Shelter Dog!!

One Love is delighted to bring you our fourth annual 5k or 1 Mile, Run/Walk event which will take place on February 15, 2025 at Freestone Park in Gilbert.

We are excited to bring the community together to raise funds benefiting the homeless dogs of Maricopa County. Every dollar we raise helps save lives!

So, if your goal for 2025 is giving back…consider this a sign. Get yourself registered and meet us at the starting line!

One Love is a nonprofit organization that utilizes forward-thinking programs to rescue and rehabilitate at-risk dogs, advocate for shelter animals, and provide free spay + neuter services. Our team is made up of passionate and dedicated individuals who work tirelessly to improve the lives of homeless dogs.

🐶 Volunteer Engagement

The majority of our volunteers are also registered at our local municipal shelters. This allows them to make regular trips to the shelter where they spend time with our sponsored dogs.

• Activities: Volunteers will bathe, walk, and play with the dogs several times per week.

💖 Beneficiary Programs

Here are some of the programs this fundraiser will benefit:

• Shelter Dog Program: Established in 2015 to assist local shelters with pit bull-type dogs who are at risk and/or longtime residents.
• VIP Program: Our Very Important Pitties are often shelter dogs with extensive medical needs beyond what the shelter can address.
• Targeted Clinics: We hold regular FREE spay/neuter and vaccination clinics for pit bull-type dogs in our community.
• Pools for Pups: This program helps provide free play pools for local pet owners with dogs living outdoors.

📝 Registration Options

• Mail-in Registration: To register by mail please complete and return our Mail-in Registration Form. Please make all checks payable to StartLine Racing.
• Virtual Run Registration: If you can't join us at Freestone Park, you can still participate virtually and receive a medal and shirt.
• Virtual Restrictions: Open to US addresses only. For non-US participants, please contact StartLine Racing at info@startlineracing.com.

• Packet Pickup: February 14 3:00 PM MST - at Sole Sports Gilbert.
• Race Day Registration: February 15 8:00 AM MST - Opens at Freestone Park.
• 5K Dash Start: February 15 9:00 AM MST.
• 1M Dash Start: February 15 9:10 AM MST.
• Awards Ceremony: February 15 10:00 AM MST - Begins (approx.).

🚦 Important Information

Race Day Check In will be available beginning at 8am at Freestone Park. We accept cash or credit card on race day.

• On-site Registration Cost: $50 for the 5K Dash, $30 for the 1M Dash.
• Accessibility: Wheelchairs and strollers welcome on the course.
• Pet Policy: Leashed pets allowed: dogs must be well behaved and kept 6ft apart.
• Weather Policy: The event will take place rain or shine with no refunds due to weather.
