Donor Dash 10K - 5K - 1K Family Fun Run

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

• Join Us: Please join the Transplant Community Alliance for their 5th annual Donor Dash event!
• Date and Location: The event will take place on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at Kiwanis Park in Tempe.
• Race Options: The event will feature a 10K, 5K and a 1K Family Fun Run.
• Support a Good Cause: The Donor Dash supports Transplant Community Alliance's Living Assistance Fund.

🤝 Why Participate?

• Race Proceeds: The race proceeds will help support transplant recipients and their families with much needed services.
• Inclusive Fun: We want to pack the 1K Family Fun Run/Walk with as many participants as possible, open to all ages.
• Kids Under 12: Kids under 12 are only $1 each when registering with an adult and will receive a t-shirt and medal.
• Post-Race Activities: Enjoy the vendor village and silent auction after the race.

📝 Event Schedule

• Friday, Dec 6: Packet Pick-Up at Sole Sports Tempe from 3-6pm.
• Saturday, Dec 7: Race Day Packet Pick-up and Registration Opens at 8:00 AM.
• 10K Run/Walk: Begins at 9:00 AM.
• Award Ceremony: Begins at approximately 10:00 AM.

🍽️ Participant Perks

• Medals and T-Shirts: All participants receive a Custom Event Finisher's Medal and Custom Event Dri-Fit Tech T-Shirt.
• Gift Cards: Overall male and female finishers in the 10K and 5K will receive $150 gift cards to Tortoise and Hare Sports.
• Runner's Brunch: Pre- and Post-Race refreshments will be provided including granola bars, fruit, water, Gatorade, etc.
• Real-Time Results: Chip Timed with Real Time Results available on the event's website or mobile app.

📋 Registration Information

• Online Registration: Register at this link.
• Race Day Registration: Registration begins at 8:00 AM: costs are $50 for the 10K, $40 for the 5K, and $30 for the 1K.
• Packet Pick-Up: Available on December 6th and at the race location starting at 8 AM.
• Virtual Participation: Participate virtually and receive a finisher's medal and shirt mailed to you.

🚫 Race Day Policies

• No Bag Check: Due to the common start/finish line, no bag check will be available.
• Weather Policy: The event will take place rain or shine: there are no refunds due to weather.
• Accessibility: Wheelchairs, strollers, and wagons are welcome: leashed pets are allowed.
• Prohibited Items: No roller blades/skates, skateboards, or motorized devices are allowed on the courses.
