Rockin' Run & Roll 5K

🎸 Event Overview

You are invited to the Seventh Annual Rockin' Run & Roll 5K.

• Inclusivity: This inclusive event is open to all with the goal of getting people from all ages and ability levels to participate and have fun.
• Dress Code: Participants are encouraged to come dressed in their favorite rock and roll accessories.
• Course Description: The flat, fast 3.1 mile race is well marked with water stations along the route.
• Event Date: This event will be held on January 18, 2025, commencing at 8 a.m.

📍 Location Details

The race will take place on the grounds of the Morgan Family Community Center, Butler Park, and Heron Creek Middle School. Runners will begin arriving on location approximately one and a half hours prior to the start of the race.

• Registration: Registration and post-race ceremonies will take place at the Morgan Family Community Center and adjacent open spaces.
• Address: 6207 West Price Boulevard, North Port, FL 34291.

👕 Race Packet Information

• Packet Pickup: Race packet bags, shirts & participation medals are guaranteed for the first 200 combined entrants.
• Entry Fee: $30 through 1/17/25: $35 day of race.
• Race Day Registration: 6:45 - 7:45 am. No cash is accepted on the day of the race.

💰 Support Our Cause

All proceeds help fund the Parks & Recreation Youth Scholarship Program, providing youth aged 17 years and under from income-eligible families with exposure to positive recreation experiences that promote physical, mental, and social well-being.

🎖️ Awards Ceremony

Awards will be presented immediately following the race to the top male finisher and top female finisher in the following categories: Overall, Masters, Grand Masters, Senior Grand Master, Veterans, Overall Push Rim, and Best Dressed Dog. Age group awards will be given to the top 3 male and female finishers in the following age groups:

• 9 and under
• 10-14
• 15-19
• 20-24
• 25-29
• 30-34
• 35-39
• 40-44
• 45-49
• 50-54
• 55-59
• 60-64
• 65-69
• 70-74
• 75-79
• 80+

There will also be an award for the team or organization with the most registered participants and an award for the Best Dressed Dog!
