Join us for the 25th Annual Scrub Jay Races on Saturday, January 25, 2025.

🏁 Race Details

• Different Courses: The 5K and Scramble 10K utilize different starts and courses! Same great finish through the picnic area and post race party by the Nature Center and pavilions.
• 5K Course: Designed with road-runners in mind, this course has the beauty of Oscar Scherer Park with mostly hard packed surfaces, tree roots, and a little bit of sugar sand.
• Scramble 10K Course: Trail-focused with ups and downs, including pedestrian underpasses and overpasses, designed by trail runners for trail runners.

🥇 Registration Benefits

• Finisher's Medal: Custom silver anniversary finisher's medal for all finishers.
• Post-Race Food: Featuring hot dogs (veggie dogs on request), bananas, and other snacks.
• Race Shirt: Participants will receive a snazzy tech race shirt locally designed and printed by Gulf Breeze Apparel while supplies last.
• Shirt Policy: Race shirts will be ordered approximately three weeks before race day. Sizes available only while supplies last.

🏆 Awards

5K and 10K Overall and Category Awards:

• Overall Winners: Awards for Overall, Masters (40+), Grandmasters (50+), Senior Grandmasters (60+), Veteran Grandmasters (70+), and Youth Overall (14 & under).
• 5K Age Group Awards: 3-deep in 9 & under, 10-12, 13-14, and 5-year increments 15-19 to 90 & over.
• Scramble 10K Age Group Awards: 3-deep 14 & under and 5-year increments 15-19 to 80 & over.
