🏃♂️ Event Overview
The Tidewater Striders 4th Annual All-Comers indoor track meet will be held at the new state-of-the-art indoor track arena at the Virginia Beach Sports Center!
🎉 Who Can Participate?
- Open to all: This event is open to all levels and ages!
- Featured event: The featured event will be the Strider Indoor Mile with other track and field events included!
🏅 Events Offered
- Main events: Strider Indoor Mile, 800 Meters, 400 Meters, 200 Meters, 50 Meter dash, Long Jump, Shot Put.
- Pentathlon: Distance Medley Relay (Mile, 400, 200, 50m, LJ, SP).
💵 Entry Fee
- Strider Indoor Mile: $20
- Pentathlon: $30
- Other events: $5.00 each
- Additional entries: If you run the Strider Indoor Mile, you can compete in any of the other events for just $5.00 more!
🏆 Awards
- Strider Indoor Mile: Top 3 Overall Male and Female, Top Masters Male and Female, Top 3 male and female in 10-year age groups!
- Grand Prix Event: Strider Mile is a Strider Grand Prix Event!
- Other events: 800, 400, 200, 50m, LJ, SP, Pentathlon Top 3 overall Male, and Female only!
- DMR: Top Male and Female team!
🏋️♂️ Special Event: Pentathlon
You will compete in 6 Track and Field events 1 Mile, 400, 200, 50M, LJ & SP! You will be scored against all other competitors in the Pentathlon top 6 scoring points in each event! The field events can be completed anytime from 8 am-11 am.
📦 Distance Medley Relay
1200/400/800/1600! Relay teams can register by email at orangerunning@yahoo.com or on race morning at the registration table! The race is free to everyone competing in any of the events!
📅 Final Instructions
Final Instructions will be sent out the week of the event with detailed instructions and a timeline of events!
🎖️ Awards Ceremony
Awards ceremony will be on the track at the award area after the last event is complete.

🍔 Concessions
Concessions will be open to purchase food, and beverages including adult beverages during the event!
🕒 Tentative Meet Schedule
Times are subject to change: final schedule will come out with final instructions. See below for preliminary times:
- 8 am: Strider Indoor Mile
- 9:15 am: 400M
- 9:45 am: 200M
- 10:15 am: 800M
- 10:30 am: 50M Dash
- 10:45 am: Distance Medley Relay
You will have from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. to complete the field events!
