🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

Run’ucopia is a Salem tradition. The course will cross the new bridge through one of the largest interconnected urban park systems in the nation! Bring your family and friends and engage in some healthy activity before your feast. Consider this your “appetite development.” It is a tradition of friends, family and competitors.

Date: November 27, 2025
Location: Riverfront Park, Salem, Oregon. Start/Finish at the pavilion.
Check-in: Opens at 8:00 am
Race Start: Various times starting at 9:10 am

🏅 Distances

1K Kids Run: Free for ages 6 & under
6K Run/Walk: Approximately 4 miles
10K Run: 6.2 miles
15K Run: 9.3 miles

💡 Important Information

Strollers: Allowed
Dogs: Not allowed, please leave them at home
Registration: Available until Thanksgiving morning
Walking Etiquette: Please stay right to let runners pass

🌍 Community Engagement

Participating again this year is Outward Church and their Thanksgiving Meal Program. They organize a feast for families in need, cooking and delivering meals to over 200 families. You can sponsor a family’s full meal for $35 or contribute at any level through online registration.

🗑️ Recycling Initiative

Again this year, recycle your old running shoes by placing them in the bin at the registration area. Sneakers/Running shoes only please.

🏆 Awards and Recognition

Ribbons will be awarded for the top 3 placers in each age group. Special gifts will be given for the top 3 men’s and women’s winners in each distance.
