EGM Cross Country Run Team

🎉 Welcome to the EGM Cross Country Run Team!

WE ARE SO EXCITED to announce the 2024-2025 Season of EGM Cross Country Run Team.

📚 Team Eligibility

• Open to: Grades 2-5.
• Start Date: October 2024.
• End Date: April 2025.

🏃‍♂️ Focus of the Run Team

Our Run team will focus on developing proper running techniques, build speed and endurance while promoting sportsmanship, team spirit and a healthy lifestyle. Parents/Guardians are encouraged to run with their students!!

• Practice Time: Mondays immediately following school 3:00-4:00.
• Fall Season: Runs October through November.
• Spring Season: Runs March through April.
• Pickup Requirement: Students MUST be picked up AT 4:00.

⏰ Team Attendance Policy

2-tardy pickups result in dismissal from the team.

👕 Practices and Equipment

Practices will continue throughout the school year, weather permitting, and breaking for the holidays and harsh winter months.

• Team Shirt: Each team member will receive a TEAM shirt that will be worn at KOTR and other run events.
• Goals: Runners will work towards prizes with completion on laps and sportsmanship.

🏅 Team Requirements

We are so excited to build our team of strong athletes!

• Enrollment: Enrollment in KOTR - KOTR Enrollment
• Volunteer: Parent/guardian volunteering at at least one practice or event for the year.
• Attitude: Positive attitude, willingness to work with others and take direction from leaders.
• Fee: Signup $25.
