Join Brandon Running Association for our annual BRANDON HALF MARATHON & 5K event on Sunday, January 5, 2025. Both race courses will run along the Brandon Parkway, with the Half Marathon extending on the Selmon Expressway. Both races start and finish at 2016 Town Center Blvd, Brandon, FL 33511.
π‘οΈ Course and Conditions
- Temperature: With an average temperature in the 50's (Fahrenheit).
- Course Type: Mostly flat and fast, ideal for personal records or training runs.
- Elevation: The 5K has very little elevation change: the Half Marathon has some.
π Awards and Medals
- Awards: Given to Top Male and Female Overall, Masters (40+) and Grand Masters (50+) winners.
- Age Groups: Top 3 Male and Female in age groups: 0-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70+.
- Finisher Award: All Half Marathon & 5K finishers receive a medal!
- T-shirts: All registrants receive a Unisex Long Sleeve Race Shirt (Guaranteed if pre-registered before Dec 8, 2024).
π Post-Race Celebration
- Free Race Photos: Available for all participants.
- Food and Drinks: Enjoy grilled chicken, hamburgers, hot dogs, pizza, fruit, free beer, soda, and water.
- Massage Services: On-site post-race massage will be available.
- Awards Ceremony: Celebrate the event with fellow runners.

Packet Pick-Up
Race day packet pickup is available starting at 6:00 a.m. If you would like to avoid packet pickup lines on race morning, come to one of our pre-race day packet pickup opportunities:
- Friday, January 3th, 4-7 PM at Fleet Feet Brandon (1934 E Bloomingdale Ave, Valrico, FL 33596)
- Saturday, January 4th, 1-5 PM at Fleet Feet Brandon (1934 E Bloomingdale Ave, Valrico, FL 33596)

Note: Cut off time for half marathon participants is 3 hours and 15 minutes. If you are on course after this point, you will have the option to be picked up and driven to the finish area or to continue to complete the remainder of the course, abiding by Hillsborough County pedestrian laws. Course support and road closures will not be available after this time point.
