Yes, we're still running! Arutisuse (pronounced Ah-rut-tee-SUS-see) means arise in the traditional Foundational Black American TUT language. This year Arutisuse Run highlights excellence in science, technology, engineering and mathematics, (STEM), along with freedom fighters.
🕖 Event Details
- Date: 2024-12-14
- Location: Gadsden Park, Tampa, FL
- Arrival Time: Arrive by 7:30am to get your groove on and participate in our line dance warm up.
- Registration: Virtual and in-person registration options are available.
🎉 Activities & Benefits
- Access: All registered participants will have access to our Wall of STEM Excellence and virtual Arutisuse Run STEM Excellence Museum.
- Discussion: Dr. Anthony E. Dixon, Ph.D., author and historian will lead a discussion about the contribution of our posthumous honoree George Washington Carver and Benjamin Banneker.
- Gifts: All registered participants will receive a t-shirt, bib, finisher medal and photo at this timed event.
- Inclusion: Arutisuse Run is an event for EVERYONE to enjoy! Families, businesses, strollers and wheelchairs are welcome!
