The Tim Kennard River Run returns March 2, 2025!

Salisbury Bible Fellowship (1500 Court Plaza Ln) has again kindly provided their support and their facility for the race start and finish. They are located right on the course and are committing to making race day a day of service for their church!

💖 About the Honoree

Timothy Kennard, 48 years old, and father of a 7-year-old son, passed away on March 11, 2004. He fought a courageous battle against kidney cancer. Tim is missed by his family and fellow running friends. This run/walk is in his honor, with proceeds going, as Tim requested, to help children and animals. This year the proceeds will help Team 360, which helps people of different abilities train and participate in mainstream athletic events: Coalition of Caring, a fund for our animal friends: and the Eastern Shore Running Club Scholarship Fund.

• Team 360: Provides motivation and support to people of different abilities, empowering and enabling them to participate in mainstream athletic events.
• Coalition of Caring: Helps our animal friends in need, assisting with medical needs, adoption, spay and neuter costs, and transporting homeless animals to rescues.
• Eastern Shore Running Club Scholarship Fund: Supports local athletes.

• RACE ENTRY FEE:
• 5k Run/Walk: $30 through 2/1/25...$35 from 2/2/25 through race-week...$40 race-day with an 8 a.m. cutoff.
• 10 miler: $60 through 2/1/25...$65 from 2/2/25 through race-week...$70 race-day with an 8 a.m. cutoff.
• RACE COURSE: Beautiful course through the City of Salisbury, MD...USATF Certified
• RACE TIMING: Seashore Strider Event Production will chip time the event using the Chronotrack chip timing system.
• RACE AMENITIES: Long Sleeve T-Shirts, a beautiful course, nice awards, great after-party celebration.
• PARKING: Plenty of parking in the start/finish area of Salisbury Bible Fellowship Church

⏰ Race Limits and Awards

• 10 MILE TIME LIMIT: 2:30 Time Limit for Ten Miler...15 MINUTES PER MILE PACE. Be mindful that the 10 miler is not a walk event.
• AWARDS: Custom awards will be presented to male & female overall, master, and the top three finishers in the age groups for both events.
• CASH AWARDS: Overall 10 mile (1st- $200, 2nd- $150, 3rd- $100): Overall 5k (1st- $150, 2nd- $100, 3rd- $50): Master and Grand Masters $50 awards.

💧 Water Stops and Packet Pickup

• WATER STOP INFO: Water Stops every 2 miles for the 10 miler and 1 stop in the 5k event. Plenty at the start & finish.
• PACKET PICKUP:
• Saturday March 1, 2025: 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm at Evo Public House, 201 East Vine St: Salisbury, MD 21801
• Sunday March 2, 2025: 7:00 - 8:00 am at the Race Start & Finish area

📋 Race Day Registration

LAST CHANCE RACE-DAY REGISTRATION: Start/Finish area from 7-8 a.m. on race day.

🚫 Race Note

To ensure runner safety, unregistered runners, bicycles, skateboards, rollerblades, baby joggers, and dogs are strictly prohibited on the 10 mile course. The 5K run/walk will allow baby joggers and well-behaved canines.
