West Ponce Music Stroll 5k

🎉 Welcome to the West Ponce Music Stroll 5k!

We are so excited to invite you to the 4th Annual West Ponce Music Stroll 5k! At Fleet Feet Decatur we are all about community and we are excited for the opportunity to share who we are with you. Race entry includes a chip-timed event and race t-shirt.

🎶 Event Overview

The West Ponce Music stroll will celebrate its fifth annual year with a day of events bringing awareness to the businesses in the West Ponce District of downtown Decatur.

• Music Stages: West Ponce businesses open their patios and parking lots, transforming them into stages for a day of free, live music and fun during the fifth annual event.
• Support Local: Your support of the race also helps support Decatur Makers’ general fund, need-based scholarships, and all of our programs with a focus on underserved communities.
• Impact: Every dollar makes an impact. Thanks for supporting the West Ponce District!

Our post-race atmosphere will be a blast so pack some dry clothes & a lawn chair.

⏰ Race Day Schedule

• 6:45 AM: Check in opens at Fleet Feet. There will be a table in front of the store 431 W Ponce de Leon Ave #1 Decatur GA 30030. Race day Registration will be available until warm up at 7:45.
• 7:45 AM: Music kicks off.
• 7:45-7:55 AM: Warm Up lead by Clarity Fitness.
• 8:00 AM: Start of 5k Run/Walk. We ask that our furry friends start in the back.

• 9:00 AM: Yoga lead by CLARITY Fitness.
• 10:00 AM: Dance Fitness lead by CLARITY Fitness.

• Age Groups: The USATF standard is 5-year groups: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85-89, and 90 and over.
• Join Us: Join our FREE Strava Fleet Feet Decatur Run/Walk Club for weekly event reminders, community, & routes access.

Course Turn by Turn Instructions:

• Straight on W Ponce
• R on Commerce Drive
• R Sycamore PL
• R E Howard Ave along SMT, R Patillo way, L on Greenwood Circle, Right on Mary Gay Dr/ L Ridley Lane, L Hibernia, R Greenwood Circle, R Adair, R W Ponce to finish line.

🚗 Parking Information

We ask kindly that you do not park in the Dancing Goats Parking lot as we do not want to hinder the normal flow of business for Dancing Goats.

• First Christian Church: PLEASE DO NOT PARK HERE.
• Parallel Parking: Available along W Ponce in front of St. Thomas Moore Catholic Church. (Be mindful Road Closure will be at Northern Ave/W Ponce intersection.)
• Free Lot: There is a lot that is supposed to be free on weekends and a short walk to the store right across from Inner Voice at the corner of Ponce de Leon Pl & Swanton Way backing up to W Trinity.
• Courthouse Deck: The Dekalb County Courthouse deck is also supposed to be free on the weekend located at: 556 N McDonough St Decatur GA 30030.
