2nd Annual FEENEY'S 5K Fun Run & Virtual Run

🎉 Join the Fun Run

• Objective: Join the Fun Run with Feeney's Mom, Kathy, so no one has to go through the loss of a loved one due to 911 NOT being called.
• Advocacy: Kathy, with the Feeney Legacy Project, is all about educating Kids to 40 Somethings: when with someone in a medical crisis CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY and KNOW the caller is safe from the law thanks to the GA 911 Medical Amnesty Law--LIFE over LAW!

❤️ Organ Donation Awareness

• Impact: Kathy's heart went "pitter patter" when Feeney's wish of organ donation happened--helping over 150 people (now a bit of a DAWG).
• Get Educated: With LifeLink learn all about the gift of donating organs no matter the age.
• Fundraising: The 2nd Annual Feeney's Fun Run will help FLP's Fall 2025 Billboard Blitz--saving lives around Atlanta!

• Date: April 13, 2025, 9:30 AM (Live Event): March 17, 2025 (Virtual)
• Location: Legacy Park, Decatur, GA
• Virtual: Walk, run, ride, dance, or skip anytime, anywhere from March 17-April 13, 2025

🏃‍♂️ Course Information

• Route: 5K Run/Walk through Legacy Park trails (2 loops).
• Footwear: Wear shoes suitable for trails!

🎈 Dress Code

• Color Theme: Wear red! Red socks, hats, or any "silly" red gear to honor Feeney's fun spirit.

👥 Create a Team

• Gather: Rally friends, family, and colleagues to join you!

📸 Capture the Fun

• Share: Snap pics, take videos, share, and tag us!

🏆 Awards

• Recognition: Top 3 male/female finishers per age group, overall male & female winners.

🎁 Registration Perks

• T-Shirts: Guaranteed if registered by March 27
• Virtual Swag: All virtual participants get a swag mailer

📝 Additional Details

• Packet Pickup: Big Peach Running Co Decatur 4/10 & 4/11 time TBD as well as 4/13 at 8:30am-9:00am
• Timing & Results: Elite Race Timing: live results at the finish line and online at Elite Race Timing
• Parking: Legacy Park, Columbia Theological Seminary, Inman Drive entrance or nearby streets (be mindful of NO PARKING signs)
• Weather: Rain or shine (extreme weather updates on FLP’s social media)

🚫 Guidelines

• No Dogs/Strollers: NO DOGS/STROLLERS ON COURSE (decorate them in red to cheer from the sidelines!)
• Restrooms: Available on-site
