🎉General Information

• Finish Line Party: There will be a food truck with food and coffee (for purchase) serving at 10:00am (will serve coffee starting at 8:00am).
• Facilities: Two portable toilets available near race headquarters for your convenience.
• Packet Pick-Up: Additional packet pick-up option available the day prior to the event on February 7th from 1:00-6:30pm at Fleet Feet Mt. Pleasant.
• Wellness Expo: You do not have to be a paid participant to enjoy the Wellness Expo and raffle: everyone is welcome.

💪Race Overview

The 5K run/walk will raise funds to benefit the MUSC Children's Health Wellness Works Program. Come run or walk a USATF-certified 5K course to help us in our work of supporting healthy lifestyle habits for kids and their families. We also have a lot of exciting raffle prizes to offer, so bring cash or a card to purchase raffle tickets and participate in the drawing after the race (no checks will be accepted).

• Registration Fee: Includes a t-shirt, a race packet with exciting freebies, water, and healthy snacks.
• Awards: Official timing and overall/age-group awards (three deep) will be given.
• Finisher's Medal: A medal will be awarded to all who complete the entire 5K course.
• Schedule: The Wellness Expo and on-site packet pick-up begin at 8:00 am, with the race starting at 9:00 am.

🩺Wellness Works Program

MUSC Children's Health Wellness Works program is a wellness/weight management program and lipid treatment clinic for kids and teens. We work with kids and their families to promote healthy habits through individualized clinic visits, group education sessions, and a fitness program. We have had fantastic success and we currently have over 500 families enrolled from the greater Charleston area! Since we are a non-profit program, we rely heavily on fundraising events that also promote our healthy message through exercise and health promotion.
