A Memory Grows is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that serves as an outreach to grieving parents, and as a resource to hospitals, clinics, hospice groups, churches and other nonprofit organizations.

• Description: The Legacy 5K Fun Run is A Memory Grows' annual run and walk. This race is open to anyone who would like to join us as we honor the lives and legacies of our children.

👟 Participation

While our race is not officially timed by a timing company, we have many serious runners who participate each year. Our participants include:

• Parents: Those who have experienced the death of a child.
• Friends and Family: Supporters of grieving parents.
• Community Members: Individuals wanting to support our organization.
• Runners and Walkers: Both casual and serious participants are welcome.

💖 Mission and Impact

A Memory Grows is only the second organization of its kind in the United States. The focus of our retreats and special events is to bring support and walk beside families on the journey of grief, while offering hope and the promise that we are not alone.

• Support Provided: Since 2017, A Memory Grows has offered retreats, special events, and resources.
• Reach: We have provided support to parents in 17 different states and Canada.
• Funding: All proceeds from our Legacy 5K will offer hope and support to grieving families.
• Goals: Funds will also help us expand our services and reach.
