Run Walk or Stroll with us at our Third Annual 5K For Life at Mike Lewis Park Grand Prairie! Come & make a difference in the community. New runners and families are welcome to join the 5K.

Our vision for this annual 5k is to inspire our community to lock arms with the Grand Prairie Pregnancy Resource Center, and promote awareness and support. We will have local vendors from our region with us to come and celebrate!

This event is a yearly fundraising resource providing essential funds for ongoing projects and campaigns.

• Non-Profit Organization: The Pregnancy Resource Center of Grand Prairie is a non-profit organization that has been a pillar within our community for over 30 years—impacting over 43,500+ families!

🛠️ What We Do

• Free Assistance: We offer FREE practical assistance, resources, education, and care for moms, dads, and families facing unexpected pregnancies.

We would be honored if you would join us for our 3rd Annual 5k For Life!

📍 Pre-Packet Pickup Location

• Location: Grand Prairie Chamber Of Commerce 900 Conover Dr, Grand Prairie, TX 75051
• Date: Thursday April 24th
• Time: From 2pm-6pm

📅 Race Day Packet Pickup

• Location: Mike Lewis Park (race site) 2410 N Carrier Pkwy, Grand Prairie, TX 75050
• Time: From 6:30am - 7:30am

🤝 Volunteer With Us

• Aid Station: Provide water to participants as they pass by. Keep course clean for runners by picking up discarded cups, bottles and trash and placing it in the provided trash cans.
• Course Monitor: Help maintain a safe course by redirecting traffic away from participants and guiding participants in the right direction.
• Contact: cpcgplife@sbcglobal.net if you or anyone you know wishes to volunteer. Great way to rack up community hours/credits.
• Encouragement: Feel free to bring pom poms, horns, music, instruments, signs etc. to encourage and cheer on runners. Bonus for creative costumes!

🏆 Awards

• Overall Awards: Male and Female Overall
• Top 3: Male and Female for the following age groups: 15-24, 25-34, 35-44, 45-54, 55-64, 65-74, 75-84
• Placement: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners.

📋 Refund/Cancellation Policy

Cancelation Policy All Lace Up Running events proceed rain or shine or snow or cold. For that reason, we have a strict no refund policy.

• Extreme Weather: In the event of extreme weather, the start time of this event may be delayed by up to a half hour. Past this time, the course may be shortened or altered to protect the participants.
• Safety: If conditions turn to lightning, ice or become unsafe, the event may be canceled. Event changes and cancellations are at the discretion of the Race Director.
• Understanding: Thank you for your understanding of these policies and we appreciate your participation.
• Virtual Race: If you are unable to participate in the event, or the event is canceled, you can still receive your packet, shirt, and medal and you simply run the race on your own time on your own course. See our virtual race information for complete details.
