🏅 Race Course and Features

• Certification: USATF certified race course.
• Scenery: Pass through acclaimed historic districts, along the Tennessee River, and through Point Mallard Park.
• Course Map: Available at Certified Road Races.
• Half Marathon Relay: Gather up to 4 relay members to participate in the half marathon.

🎽 5K Race Details

• Start Time: The 5K race will start at 7:15am.
• Perks: 5K participants receive a race shirt, carnival swag, and a finisher surprise!
• Post-Race Treats: Mardi Gras donuts, Gatorade, and Pepsi products for 5K finishers.
• Course: An out-and-back run on the same Frolic course!

🥇 13.1 Race Benefits

• Participant Perks: All Frolic 13.1 individual participants get a race shirt, carnival swag, and a finishers medal.
• Relay Team: Team participants receive race shirts and team finishers medals.
• Cash Prizes: Overall winners of the half marathon will receive cash and additional prizes for age group winners.
• Post-Race Celebration: Enjoy beignets, red beans and rice, and one free mimosa or cold beer at the Carnegie Visual Arts Center.

📝 Registration Information

• Online Registration: Available through February 27, 2025, with incremental fee increases.
• Late Registration: In-person registration from February 28 to March 1, 2025, at the Carnegie Visual Arts Center.
• Shirt Availability: Late registrants may not guarantee race shirt sizes.

📦 Packet Pick-Up

• Date: February 28, 2025, from 10:30am to 6pm and on race day, March 1, from 6am to 6:45am.
• Location: Carnegie Visual Arts Center.

⏳ Finishing Time Cut-Off

• Time Limit: 3:30 limit for the half marathon is based on the request of the Decatur Police Department and RCR TIMING.
