- Event Details: The Sudbury Road Race event includes a 5-kilometer race (walkers welcome) and a 1-mile fun run (all ages welcome).
- Location: Both races begin and end at Ephraim Curtis Middle School, 22 Pratts Mill Rd. Sudbury, Massachusetts.
- Start Times: The fun run begins at 10am, with the 5k beginning at 10:30am.
- Fundraiser: This event is a fundraiser for the Sudbury Historical Society History Center and Museum.
🏛️ History Center and Museum
- Opening: Opening in July 2021, The Sudbury Historical Society has finished its most ambitious project.
- Revitalization: The creation of the Sudbury History Center and Museum in the town-owned c1730 Loring Parsonage has been a long time coming.
- Benefits: The project has revitalized a historic town asset and allows the SHS to safely store and exhibit collections.
- Accessibility: It provides a fully accessible historical resource for Sudbury’s residents and tourists.
📖 Mission and Vision
- Nonprofit Goals: The nonprofit SHS is dedicated to collecting and preserving Sudbury’s historical records.
- Community Engagement: They promote the study of local history and connect people to Sudbury’s traditions through educational programming.
- Inclusive Facility: Our vision for the town-owned Loring Parsonage was to create an inclusive, active, multifunctional facility for all ages.

🏷️ Pricing
- Fun Run Cost: 1 mile fun run $15.00.
- 5K Registration: $25.00 early bird thru 10/15/24: $30 after until online registration closes 11/9/23 at 11:59 pm.
- Race Day: Race day registration $35.00.
- Incentives: Free t-shirt for the first 150 5k participants and large sticker 'medal' for kids in the 1 mile.
🏅 Awards
- Medal Distribution: Medals will be given to the top 3 finishers in each race, men, and women respectively.
- Veteran Discount: Veterans receive a $5.00 discount on all pricing by using the special pricing code "Vet23".
