🏃♂️ The Greater Baton Rouge Lit Run
The "LIT RUN", hosted by the Family Project Inc., is a 5k Run right after sunset in beautiful Downtown Baton Rouge on the Riverfront. Participants are encouraged to get "LIT" in their brightest running attire.

- Themes: Participants are encouraged to don themselves in lights and glow sticks.
- Foot Tour: Enjoy a foot tour of the new and historic sites downtown.
- Vendors & Music: Visit vendors and enjoy music throughout the event.
- Support a Cause: All while supporting a deserving cause focused on literacy.
📚 Supporting Literacy Initiatives
The catalyst powering the "LIT RUN" looks to illuminate the dark circumstance in literacy in our parish as an issue. Proceeds from the event will support literacy initiatives at underperforming schools and our GED testing center.

- Check-In: Run check-in is at 5:00 pm.
- Start Time: The Run starts at 5:30 pm on the levee.
- Course Details: Keep in mind, there will be hills and curves.
