San Joaquin River Trail Half Marathon & 10K

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

Come out and run some of the best local trails and a half marathon course that will kick your butt. With approx. 2500' of elevation gain this course won't be your typical stroll in the park. Over 90% single track trail in the foothills, this course could easily become your new favorite. Awards will be given out to top 3 overall Male and Female and 3 deep in age-groups.

🎖️ All Participants Receive

• Custom Finisher medal: Every participant will receive a custom medal upon finishing.
• Custom event shirt: Participants will get a shirt commemorating the event.
• Custom Race Awards: Awards for Overall and Age Groups will be given.

📅 Pickup Information

• Early Bib/Shirt Pickup: When: Friday, 28th From 3:30-5:30pm, Where: Fleet Feet Sports Fresno, 9447 N Fort Washington Suite 106 Fresno, Ca 93730.
• Race Day Bib/Shirt Pickup: When: Saturday, March 1st 6:30-7:50am in the Start Area.

• Location: San Joaquin River Gorge Special Recreation Management Area.
• Address: 40060 Smalley Road Auberry, CA 93602.

• Parking: Carpool if possible: parking is available near Start/Finish in Aholul Campground.

🚗 Parking Details

• Parking Areas: Additional parking in lower & upper lots, and cleared dirt areas along roadside, not on shoulder.
• Important Note: Please do not park in the Equestrian Area.
• Late Arrival: If you arrive late, parking will be available down on Smalley Rd.
• Road Etiquette: Please do not block roadway or driveways.

💰 Day Use Fees

DAY USE FEES ARE REQUIRED.

⏰ Race Start Times

• Half Marathon: 8:00am
• 10k: 8:10am

🏞️ Course Information

• Course Difficulty: Both 10k and Half Marathon courses are challenging with steep hills and rough terrain.
• Aid Stations: 10k has one aid station at mile 4: Half Marathon has stations at miles 4, 6, 9.6, & 11.7.
• Course Markers: The course will be marked with signs and orange ribbons for easy navigation.
• Trash Policy: Please make sure any trash stays at the aid station, do not drop it along the course.

🏅 Awards

• Finishers Medal: Both Half Marathon and 10k Finishers will receive a Finishers medal.
• Top Finishers: Awards for Top 3 Overall Male & Female finishers.
• Age Groups: Awards will be given 3 deep in 10 yr Age Groups for men and women.

🍽️ Post Race

Once you finish we will have refreshments waiting for you. Please feel free to hang out and enjoy the area and cheer on your fellow runners as they finish.
