🏊♂️ Bold New Course Changes
The forecast has been back and forth about light rain before and/or during the race. We are modifying the run to avoid mud on the trail and modifying the bike to avoid the hill between the park entrance and Rd 145/Rd 211.
- New Run: all on the road so people will not slip on the trail, one lap for sprint, two laps for Olympic.
- Alternate Bike Course: Turnaround at the Toll Booth, two loops for the sprint, and four loops for the Olympic.

🌊 Sprint and Olympic Distances
The Millerton Lake Sprint Triathlon has long been known as a great "first lake swim" triathlon, and a warm-up for the upcoming season. But don't let the bike and run distances fool you, there are a few steep hills on the ride, and the trail portion of the run is a challenge.
More of a good thing... The Olympic Distance has a more challenging swim, two loops of the bike course, and two loops of the run course with a trail run heading out, a paved road coming back and beautiful Millerton Lake as the backdrop.
📜 Important Notes
- USAT Membership: A USAT membership is required for the Triathlon, (but not the 5k/10k). If you do not have one, you can purchase one during the registration process.
- ID Requirement: Per USAT rules, multisport participants must present ID and USAT membership card at packet pickup.
- Participation Cap: Total participation at this event is capped at 200. Register before it is sold out.
- Entrance Fee: There is a $10 vehicle entrance fee.
