🕒 Race Schedule
- 7:30 AM: Half Marathon Start (7 AM start for slow half estimated to take over 3 3/4 hours)
- 8:30 AM: Mass Start for 5k/10K
- Awards Ceremony: 9:15 AM for 5k, 9:30 AM for 10K, 9:45 AM overall Half and Age Division pick up begins
- Bib & Shirt Pickup: 6:30 AM to 8:30 AM on race morning or August 1 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Black Dog Social Club & Shop
🌲 Course Highlights
- Best Course: Starts flat along the lake with an out and back 3/4 mile view, then gradually ascends.
- Elevation: 400-foot climb to a rewarding overlook for the 5k turn-around: the 10k and half marathon continue on a beautiful forest service road.
- Terrain: Rolling hills with pine trees, boulders, and breathtaking views.
- Course Support: Water stations every 1.5 miles along the out and back route.
