6th Annual Barky Pines Puppy Love 5K Trail Run/Walk

🐾 Welcome to the 6th Annual Barky Pines Puppy Love 5K!

We are so excited to announce our 6TH Annual Puppy Love 5k Race and Walk. Thank you so much for joining us! Your support means the world to us and the animals we rescue. You are running/walking for THEM! The race will be held at Acreage Community Park North and be more of a trail/cross country type run along a beautiful grassy trail adjacent to the preserve area. Enjoy a tree-lined, shaded run with 2 water stations and a lovely view.

🗓️ Event Timeline

• Check-in: Race Day check-in will begin at 7:00 AM - Early check-in and packet pick-up will be announced as we are closer to race day.
• National Anthem: at approximately 7:45 AM.
• Race Start: 8:00 AM.
• Key Activities: Costume contest awards, Chance raffle drawings, Vendors, Sponsor booths, & More.

🐶 Pet Registration

If you haven't already, please register your pet. We want to be sure to have their packets ready too. If your pet is participating in the costume contest, be sure to sign up for them either at early check-in or when you arrive on race day. You get your costume contest voting sheet at the registration booth to choose your favorite dressed-up pet!

Group formation is made available and provides discounts for groups of over four.

• Costume Contest: Along with the Pet Costume Contest, come early and visit with adorable and adoptable pets.

• Fun Atmosphere: Enjoy music by DJ RIZZ and our Emcee will keep you motivated!

💻 Virtual Race Option

For those wishing to do a virtual race at your own pace.

🐾 Fun Run/Walk

FUN RUN/WALK (WITH OR WITHOUT PETS): no pressure and those wishing to dress up their pet and take them on a stroll - come as you are! We will have a pet costume contest and fun photo ops, along with raffle prizes for the winners! Of course, Barky Pines' finest adoptables will be available for adoption!

🗺️ Course Details

With each race we learn and strive to put on a better event each time. Course maps will be sent to all participants prior to race day, please familiarize yourself with this beautiful park trail. Please also watch for signs and volunteers guiding you. Most of all, HAVE FUN! It's all about pets!

To face the pet overpopulation through a systemic approach of rescue, adoption, education, and of course spay/neuter. Providing low-cost, or free, veterinary care to keep more pets at home.
