37th Annual Vicksburg Hearty Hustle

Come join us for the 37th Annual Hearty Hustle 5K Walk/Run on Saturday, May 10, 2025

The Hearty Hustle has consistently been a part of helping create harmony with exercise, fun, and fellowship.

All ages are encouraged to join and help us celebrate this milestone. Runners and walkers alike will derive joy and peace from the scenic route through the beautiful and historic Village of Vicksburg. One of a kind quality t-shirts are included in registration costs to commemorate this race and your personal achievement. As always, there will be lots of food, beverages, awards, and a variety of prizes.

🏫 Vicksburg Community School Challenge

• Select your school: During registration, choose your Vicksburg school.
• Win a prize: Give your local school a chance to win based on registrations.
• Participating schools: High School, Middle School, Sunset, Tobey, and Indian Lake.
• Determining winner: The winning school will be determined by the number of registrations compared to the school size.

• Pre-Registration: $30.00 - Closes on May 9th (Thurs) 11:59 pm
• Children and Seniors: $20.00 Children Ages Under 18 years and Seniors (60+)
• T-shirt guarantee: To be guaranteed a t-shirt for race day- registration must be made before May 1st.
• KAR Running Club: Receives a $5.00 Discount for Early Registration.

Must be mailed by May 7th.

• Regular Registration: $35.00
• Children and Seniors: $25.00 Ages Under 18 years and Seniors (60+)

🚶‍♂️ Race Day Registration Fees

$35.00 for all participants.

🎟️ Pre-Race (Friday)

Packet Pick-up at Vicksburg Administration Building, Registration 4:30-6:30 p.m. (301 S. Kalamazoo Ave, Vicksburg, MI)

🏅 Race Day (Saturday)

VICKSBURG STADIUM: Registration and Packet Pickup 7:30-8:30 a.m.

• 5K Run: 9:00 a.m.
• 5K Walk: 9:00 a.m.
• Fun Walk: 9:02 a.m.
• Awards: 10:15 a.m.

📏 Courses

The Walk/Run Course is 5K or 3.1 miles in length. The Fun Walk Course is approximately 1 mile in length.

🥇 Awards/Prizes

Everyone's a winner! The focus of this event is on high levels of participation. Everyone who participates is a winner whether they just "get mov'in" or beat a personal record.

• 5K Run: Prizes for the 1st place male and female overall winners, 1st place male and female masters winners, and 1st place in each of the 14 divisions along with raffle prizes.
• 5K Walk: Similar awards as 5K Run

👕 Tee Shirts

To be guaranteed a tee shirt, participants must register before May 1, 2025 (11:59 pm).

There will be plenty of parking at Vicksburg High School.
