Mattawan Wildcat Road & Trail 5K

🌲 Race Overview

Before we go over a little preview of the course, this 5K is a race that includes trails. Just as our title says, we run trails. Okay, our disclaimer has been noted. The event starts and finishes at the Mattawan High School track.

🏞️ Course Details

• First Leg: The first leg of the race is on a paved road leading around to the high school.
• Wooded Area: Once near the front of the high school, the run enters a wooded area for about a half mile.
• Trail Section: NOTE this is a trail section, including grass (sometimes dewy), dirt, sand, gravel sections, and possible wet grass/mud.
• Finish Line: After exiting the woods, the run continues through the Mattawan grounds on paved surfaces, back to the road, and around to the finish line on the track.

🍔 Post-Race Amenities

• Food & Beverages: Food and beverages will be available after the race.
• Course Restrictions: Dogs are not allowed on the course.
• Walkers & Strollers: All walkers and participants with strollers will be required to wait until all runners have crossed the start line.
• Weather Policy: In inclement weather, the race may be delayed or canceled. No refunds will be given.
