Please make plans to JOIN US for this very special event – the 2nd. annual running of the “Kyra Karr Memorial 5K or 1M Fun Run/Walk” to be held Saturday morning, October 19th, at 8:00 AM in Downtown Cartersville, GA and hosted by TBC of Cartersville. This very special race is being run in memory of Kyra Karr, a native of Cartersville and an IMB missionary who served in Italy. Kyra was tragically killed in a car accident in 2015, but her legacy of loving and serving the body of Christ lives on! The Kyra Karr Foundation exists to glorify God by serving and supporting the local church. All proceeds from this event benefit the Kyra Karr Foundation. 📝 Registration Details

5K Pre-Race Fee: $30
Fun Run / Prayer Walk Pre-Race Fee: $20
Deadline: Pre-Race Registration runs until 11:00 PM, Sunday evening, October 13th
Race Day Fees: $40 for 5K / $25 for Fun Run / Prayer Walk

🔍 Race Route

Please see the attached 5K Route Map. The route itself is a 3-times looping route in and around Downtown Cartersville, GA. The route is very flat and very fast!

🅿️ Race Start-Finish & Parking

Both the Start and Finish Line(s) are located in parking lot of Tabernacle Baptist Church located at 31 Douglas St., Cartersville, GA. There is plenty of parking available in the main lot just across Douglas St. from the Church property itself. Additionally, BOTH the Start & Finish lines will be located in the West side of the parking lot adjacent to Gilmer St. PLEASE NOTE: The Gilmer Street entrance to the Parking lot will be closed approximately 1 hour prior to and during the race. Thus, you will need to plan to enter/exit the parking lot off of Douglas St.

6:30 AM: Race Day Registration Opens
7:45 AM: Race Day Registration Closes
7:55 AM: Pre-Race Announcements
8:00 AM: 5K Race Start Time
8:45 AM: 1M Fun Run / Prayer Walk Start Time
9:15 AM: Race Awards Presentation
10:00-12noon: Mission Market (inside TBC Fellowship Hall)

📦 Pre-Race Packet Pick-up

Pre-Race Packet Pick-up will be held Friday, October 18th from 10 AM – 6 PM at Tabernacle Baptist Church. TBC is located at 31 Douglas St., Cartersville, GA. Additional information will be made available on the exact location of the TBC Campus as the packet pick-up date draws closer!
