Join us on Saturday, April 18th, 2026 for the 13th Annual 5K Walk/Race for Fragile X and celebrate our Southern California Fragile X Community! Click Here for Event Details for Participants
Fragile X syndrome (FXS) is the leading known cause of inherited intellectual disability and the leading single gene cause of Autism. Fraxsocal’s mission is to promote public awareness and with your help we can accomplish this goal! Also, to provide a forum for families and children with FXS to meet & greet and create a stronger FXS community! We also support research for effective treatments and ultimately a cure for FXS. Treatments for Fragile X are likely to help people affected by autism, Alzheimer’s, and other brain disorders.
A Family Fun Day will proceed after the walk with Family, Friends, Food and Fun!! It's a great time to chat with other families affected by fragile X syndrome (FXS) and it's also a nice opportunity for you to take your kid(s) or adult(s) with FXS or any disability for that matter, judgement free!
Last year we raised over $55,000!!! Let's see if we can top that!! Donations can be made by clicking the Donate Tab.
Inform your network of supporters! Use these Social Media graphic template to help you tell others that you are racing and/or fundraising! Invite them to race or donate in your honor or in the honor of your Fragile X Superhero.
