💡 Why race for Fragile X syndrome?

• Cause: Fragile X syndrome (FXS) is the leading known cause of inherited intellectual disability and the leading single gene cause of Autism.
• Mission: Fraxsocal’s mission is to promote public awareness and with your help we can accomplish this goal!
• Community: Provide a forum for families and children with FXS to meet & greet and create a stronger FXS community!
• Research: Support research for effective treatments and ultimately a cure for FXS.

🎉 Fragile X Community

• Family Fun Day: A Family Fun Day will proceed after the walk with Family, Friends, Food and Fun!
• Networking: Chat with other families affected by fragile X syndrome (FXS).
• Inclusivity: Take your kid(s) or adult(s) with FXS or any disability for that matter, judgement free!

📝 How to participate:

• Participate in person: Sign up to walk, run, bike, scoot or stroll (it’s a very family friendly walk/run). Click the “Sign up” button above to register!

• Participate virtually: Sign up by clicking the “Sign up” button above. Ensure someone is there in person to pick up your t-shirts.

• Start a Fundraiser: Whether participating in person or virtually, start an individual fundraiser (starting goal is $250) and attach it to a TEAM (Starting goal of $2,500).

• Become a Sponsor: We have multiple packages to choose from for individuals or companies interested in sponsoring our event!

💰 Race Fundraising Goal: $75,000

Last year we raised over $55,000!!! Let’s see if we can top that! Donations can be made by clicking the Donate Tab.
